Portuguese Experimental Poetry
Natural de Aveiro, Álvaro Seiça (1983-) concluiu o mestrado em literatura norte-americana contemporânea, com a dissertação Transdução: Processos de Transferência na Literatura e Arte Digitais (Universidade de Évora, 2011) e o doutoramento em Cultura Digital na Universidade de Bergen, com a tese setInterval() – Time-Based Readings of Kinetic Poetry, sendo Investigador do Bergen Electronic Literature Research Group e editor da ELMCIP Knowledge Base.
Seiça investiga literatura electrónica e arte digital. A sua tese de doutoramento centra-se no campo da poesia digital e questiona a relação dos conceitos de tempo e espaço no âmbito da poética cinética digital.
Obras principais > Com vários poemas e ensaios publicados em diversas revistas, tem quatro livros de poesia, sendo Ö (2014) e permafrost: 20+1 zeptopoemas sms (2012) os mais recentes. Em 2007, co-fundou a Bypass, um projecto editorial e curatorial nómada.
