A comunicação do I. R. do Projecto PO.EX’70-80 teve como título “Reading Húmus, assemblage-poem: intertextuality, deconstruction and recombination”.

Resumo > Intertextual analysis of the assemblage-poem Humus (1967), by Herberto Helder, in which the author re-writes the namesake novel by Raul Brandão (1917), making of it its textual humus, where death and life, past and present, mingle. Proposal of a combinatory digital version that fulfills the promise of circular movement, inter-relating both texts in a flux of networked polyphonies. In order to achieve our goals, our presentation will be divided in three parts: 1) Introduction of theoretical concepts that explain this discursive modality, such as re-reading, intertextuality, parody, metalanguage, as well as short presentation of Raul Brandao’s and Herberto Helder’s poetics; 2) Comparative reading of both texts, providing a deconstruction of Helder’s montage; 3) Presentation of the recombination process operated in both texts, by means of a combinatorial version, “Humus Continuous Poem”, which constitutes a creative research in the field of cyberliterature, aiming at proposing new forms of re-creating the studied montage-poem.
